Hello all! I’ve never been known to be the type to update my blog regularly, so no surprise there. Share in my love for bullet points!

• I am on the tail end of my undergraduate degree program, and of course classes are ramping up. Case in point: I spent 8 hours working on homework yesterday. Eight hours. Statistics and a history class – a 5 page essay, a project update on M&Ms (don’t ask), and about half a dozen discussion postings to reply to. I have two more quarters left and I’ll be part of the growing throng of people hoping to get more to help pay for crushing student loans. Ahhh, the American Dream.

• Work-wise, I am moving from a strictly manual testing position in SQA (Software Quality Assurance) to an Automation Engineer. Basically, that means I am moving into a more code-centric position, which goes well toward moving into my degree field. It’s an exciting time!
